Tea Time after a House Meeting:
There are NO CHURCHES in our immediate area, and Sunday evening fellowship is a time when we invite fellow Christians and interested non-Christians to our home to sing hymns and hear a sermon. We begin by sharing an evening meal together and end with informal conversation over tea and biscuits.
Aomori Prefecture is at the northern tip of Honshu, the largest of Japan's four main islands.
The village of Kazamaura where we live is located on the northern coast of the Shimokita Peninsula. On a clear day we have a beautiful view of the island of Hokkaido to our north. Luke's parents live about four hours away, on the west coast of Aomori Prefecture.
You can try exploring around our area in the google map below. The north coast of Shimokita has a population of about ten thousand--and not one single church!
